I pray that we did not over tax the staff as I know we gave them a run for their money. My salmon was perfectly cooked and very tasty. Our banquet meal was absolutely delicious. The beds were comfortable, the rooms spacious and our meeting spaces were perfect and abundant. Anything we needed, he was there and made it happen. But I actually liked the sunshine with coffee in the mornings. There was a lot of partying on Saturday night, and it was quite noisey in the hallways. We ate at Ruth Chris' and the Chart House on our two nights and had very good meals. We took the separately owned ferry taxi across the water to the football stadiium. The location was great for a football game. The chafing dishes on the buffet were either empty or almost empty. No other price reduction or accomodation. I was left with the impression that I should feel very lucky that I even got a room for the night. He just kept saying that the hotel was completely sold out. Why did it take my reservation for a view if there were none available? The clerk did not care. At late afternoon check-in, we were told that there were not any rooms available that had a view.
